      <image:title>About | - About us</image:title>
<image:caption>It all began with a dream. As sisters, best friends and local parents in our Baw Baw Shire, we wanted to create a unique early education service where we could bring our passion and professional practice into our own business. So we created Wise Kids ELC. We have been in varying roles in the Early Education industry, from Diploma educators, Kindergarten Teacher, Centre Director, Area Manager and behind the scenes in operations. You could say we know it throughly by now but we are always continuing to grow and learn in this space - never say you know it all! As Montessori qualified educators we are very interested in ensuring we are lead by the child’s natural interests, skills and involving them in daily routine practices. This helps to ensure children are developing real-world skills and are seen as confident, capable people who actively contribute to their community. We are also a part of the Early Years Advisory Committee for Baw Baw Shire, which means we are actively advocating for infrastructure and engagement for children and families in our local community. If you want this for your child too, we’d love for you to join us.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Child Safe Standards | - Child Safe Standards</image:title>
<image:caption>All children have the right to feel safe and be safe, but safety does not just happen. We all have an obligation to do the best we can to keep children safe from harm and abuse. Victoria’s Child Safe Standards (the Standards) began in Victoria in January 2016. They are a set of mandatory requirements that ensure organisations have systems, policies, and practices in place to keep children safe from abuse and harm in organisational settings. Here at Wise Kids ELC, we have a duty of care as an organisation to ensure that all children are safe in our care. We do this through training and development of our team, educating children on their rights, allowing children to advocate and influence decision making that directly effects them while in our care and supporting our broader community with how to keep children safe.
